I was born on April 23rd, 1991 and I have lived in Fishers Indiana almost my entire life, the only exceptions being a semester abroad in England and my time in Muncie at Ball State. Part of the reason I have stayed here is because family is really important to me. I have three younger siblings that I love and I cannot bring myself to leave quite yet though I am certainly not opposed to moving in the future.

As mentioned on my home page, books play a large part in my life. I have laughed, cried, and grown up with the characters in the books I've read and books continue to be a sort of escape for me. There is, however, no substitute for real life experiences. Though good books can teach you a lot and make you feel a whole range of emotions, there is nothing quite as vivid as things that you personally experience.

Some of my other hobbies include playing sports like softball, golf, flag football, and swimming and participating in events like Polar Bear Plunge ( add link) and Walk to End Alzheimer's to benefit my community. I also really love to travel and believe that it is the only real way to see and really experience another culture.
